special club for children. To get the green message over, the Park believes in starting young. When they arrive, younger children will be encouraged to become a nature detective by joining The Secret Squirrel Club, whose aim is to encourage children to get out and about. Completing the Secret Squirrel task entitles them to receive a backpack of goodies.

Accommodation
36 holiday homes providing self catering accommodation in 75 acres of the parkland grounds of Longhirst Hall. Each holiday home has up to 5 bedrooms, comfortable accommodation for a maximum of 10 people. All are carefully furnished with a large kitchen and dining area, lounge, shower and bathroom. Freeview boxes and DVD players are standard, with a DVD library in the Hub.

We have a golf course, tennis court, football and hockey pitches. Longhirst Hall facilities are also available to guests of Micklewood Park.
Location
situated in the parkland grounds of Longhirst Hall, a few miles north of Morpeth. By Car: From the North - Travel down the A1 to approximately two miles north of Morpeth. Turn left where it is signposted Hebron - you should also clearly see the sign for Longhirst Hall. Follow the signs for Longhirst Hall and once in the grounds follow the signs for Micklewood Park. From the South - Travel up the A1 and continue north approximately two miles past the Morpeth turn off. Keep on the A1 until you see a signpost on the right for Hebron – you should also clearly see the sign for Longhirst Hall. Follow the signs for Longhirst Hall and once in the grounds follow the signs for Micklewood Park. Bus, Rail and Air: The nearest bus and rail stations are three miles away in Morpeth and Newcastle Airport is eighteen miles away. Pick up can be arranged with Micklewood Park.
