Default Car travel with kids - keeping them busy

I remember that when I was little and my parents took us on holiday, usually the south of Spain, they would fit the 4 of us (all girls, a year apart in age - parents were busy there....) into the back of the Rover and off we went. By the time we got to Dover we were usually already asking how much longer til we got to Malaga. My Dad would have us spot windmills, water towers and once in Spain the bill black bull billboards en route to our destination. The first of the sisters to spot the item was awarded with x pesetas. It kept us very busy and focussed on the road, quiet as mice and entertained.

I hope this helps others planning long car journeys with several yongsters in the car.
