On the southern coast of Turkey, on the Mediterranean, Liberty Hotels Lykia (formerly Lykia World) provides seemingly endless entertainment and activities as part of its all-inclusive package. This is almost a self-contained village, based in a lovely pine and mountainous location, all less than a two-hour drive from the airport.
There are no fewer than 10 pools (a mix of indoor, family and adult-only), as well as a sprawling waterpark known as Children's Paradise, with a mixture of pools and waterslides plus daily afternoon ice-cream treats. Dry-land activities include archery, rock-climbing and tennis, while if the beach is your thing, watersports are available for an additional charge.
But don't think it's all about the kids, or activities. There are pockets of luxury dotted around the resort to which you can escape to relax by a quiet pool, share a romantic meal or just take in the stunning setting while having a dip in the calm sea.
Note that there are no local buses from the resort to surrounding towns and villages, so a hire car will be needed if you want to venture out.
