Following the opening of their latest family holiday village in Bedfordshire, Woburn Forest, Center Parcs has announced plans to introduce a sixth holiday village, in County Longford in Ireland, scheduled to open in 2019.
At a proposed cost of £233 million this new Center Parcs will have around 470 lodges and all the other attractions and facilities for which the holiday villages are renowned as a top family break destination, including a Subtropical Swimming Paradise waterpark, Aqua Sana Spa and a huge variety of activities for all ages.
Named Longford Forest, it is expected that this family holiday village in the centre of Ireland will be just as popular as the others in the Center Parcs UK portfolio.
Construction will create around 750 jobs and the village will provide permanent employment for around 1,000 people.
